What is a CSA?

A CSA (or Community Supported Agriculture) is a system that connects people and local farms in a mutually supportive relationship. By paying a subscription fee, you become a supporter of our farm and receive shares of the seasonal harvest.

Why should I join?

We grow using sustainable practices that build healthy soil and avoid harsh chemical fertilizers, insecticides, and fungicides — typical of imported flowers.

Not only does your membership support local, sustainable farming practices, but it provides you with fresh flowers every week of our growing season!

About the Farm

Great Ring Farm began as a way to learn how to better care for ourselves and the land. What started with a home vegetable garden and animals eventually led us to flowers, and in 2022 we began growing cut flowers in earnest. Today, the farm is rooted in stewardship, sustainability, and community connection.

We grow without chemical fertilizers or pesticides, using no-till practices, natural soil inputs, and native pollinator plantings to support healthy soil and beneficial insects. Our goal is simple: to grow unique, seasonal flowers that feel meaningful, beautiful, and deeply connected to the place they come from.

▸ Stewardship of land and soil
▸ Environmentally sustainable growing practices
▸ Community connection and local resilience

Community Stories & Impact

“I was able to be part of the Great Ring Farm flower CSA, this summer for 7 weeks. I can't say enough great things about the farm.

The owner Chand and Roberta were absolutely wonderful to work with. The flowers were always so fresh and delightful to see and enjoy in our home.

Chand was always so flexible. If for any reason at all I couldn't make it to my pick day and time. They would simply tack it on to the end.

When my 7 weeks was over, I asked Chand if I was able to purchase for an extra bouquet. I explained to him that I wanted to surprise my mother with fresh flowers. Without hesitation he asked me when do I need them and what kind of flowers does she like.

We loved having fresh grown Sandy Hook flower in our house. I will be returning next year!”
