FLOWER CSA INFO
What are we doing? In our inaugural season, we are offering a very limited (just 10) number of subscriptions. We deeply appreciate the support of our community and want a few commitments that encourage us to proceed and plan for this upcoming season.
What do I get? For 12 weeks, starting from mid-June till early September you will get a beautiful bouquet full of freshly picked seasonal flowers. Your bouquet will be wrapped in kraft paper sleeves made from a renewable and sustainable source. For those interested, we will offer the option to order a handcrafted custom-made vase for your flowers from ClayInThePottersHands. Here is a list of all the flowers that we are growing this season, though we can’t assure you what we will have any given week.
As a bonus thank you for supporting us in our inaugural season, we will occasionally include a free extra gift from our farm. This will depend on what’s available from our vegetable garden or perhaps even our chickens and goats. Additionally, you will be able to schedule a visit our farm during the season to see all that’s happening.
What does it cost? Contact us if you would like a subscription. Provided we are not sold out, we will email you an invoice for $250. You will be able to pay with a credit card or if you prefer you can mail us back a check. If you are not satisfied with your flowers for any reason, we will offer a full refund for any undelivered flowers.
When will I get my flower? We will have your bouquet ready every Saturday around 10 am at our farm location at 1 Great Ring Road. We are exploring options for other pick-up locations in Newtown and also other time slots (Friday evening or Wednesday evening) so if we have enough interest, we will offer additional times and locations. Let us know your preferences when you sign up for the CSA.
What if I am not able to pick up my flowers that Saturday? We will work with you to find an alternate time for that week or skip that week for a week later that season. Please advise us at least a week ahead so we can plan accordingly.
What additional details? For those who sign up for our subscription, we will send you a weekly update from late April or early May. We will provide production updates and share what flowers to expect each week.
