WHAT WE ARE GROWING
For 2024, the highlight is that we have planted thousands of flowers that are over wintering including Ranunculus, Anemones, Snapdragons, Scabiosa, Icelandic Poppies and Tulips with the protection of several tunnels, covered in frost cloth and greenhouse plastic.
We will still have a wide variety of summer annual flowers including Lisianthus, Dahlias, specialty Sunflowers, Celosia, Snapdragons and Zinnias Some of the other flowers returning back from last year are Bells of Ireland Bouquet Dill, Bupleurum, Cosmos, Dara (Queen Anne's Lace), Frosted Explosion Grass, Gomphrena, Marigold and Monarda Lemon Mint.
We added extensively to our perennial patches and now have almost 900 plants and shrubs growing including 80 peonies. New introductions that we are excited about include Astrantia, Astilbe, Campanula, specialty Echinacea and Phlox. .
