Our Flowers
● Our Flowers
We grow a wide range of flowers—from vibrant annuals to established perennials and woody plantings—using thoughtful practices that support soil health and the surrounding environment. Because our blooms aren’t “bred for a box,” they retain the delicate fragrance and texture that are often lost in commercially shipped flowers.
● What We Grow
Throughout the year, our fields are designed for diversity, allowing us to offer blooms that feel expressive and alive.
Annual Flowers: Over 60 varieties are grown each season from seed and plugs, offering a wide range of color, form, and natural fragrance.
Perennials & Native Plantings: Over 70 varieties of established perennials—including pollinator-supporting natives—add depth and continuity to the farm year after year.
Woody & Structural Stems: More than 50 varieties of shrubs and structural stems—including peonies, willows, native berries (such as Ilex, Coralberry and Aronia), viburnum, and flowering quince—bring form, movement, and seasonal character to arrangements.
● How Our Flowers are Shared
Much of our harvest is grown for the wholesale market and is available through the Connecticut Flower Collective. We are grateful to grow alongside other small-scale farms as part of Connecticut’s vibrant flower community.
The farm is also sustained by the support of our Flower Membership. That early encouragement made it possible for us to expand our plantings and continue growing. For those looking to bring the fields into their homes, this is the best way to experience the season with us.
Additionally, we provide flowers for small gatherings and meaningful celebrations — from birthdays to intimate weddings — as a way to serve our community directly.
